China-Portugal Technology Fair Held Successfully

In an initiative supported by SPI and AICEP, the China-Portugal Technology Fair was held successfully in the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN) Business Center in Beijing on July 5, 2012. Representatives from 8 Portuguese companies attended the event, from three sectors: Electricity, Construction and Information Technologies. The Portuguese experts exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities with more than 30 Chinese companies. 

 Among the Portuguese participants, the following companies were represented: Electricidade Industrial Portuguesa, S.A., Miguel Saraiva & Associados, GATEWIT, PT Inovação, and four other companies. From China, some large state-owned companies were present, such as State Grid Corporation of China, Vantone Real Estate, Gohigh Data Networks Technology Co., Ltd, China Aerospace Science & Industry Corporation, among others. 

Topics discussed covered strategic cooperation, technology transfer, research and innovation, as well as issues regarding import and export between the two countries.
