CENTRAL AMERICA
SPI has established a number of strategic partnerships in Central America. With these organizations, it has established various activities and large projects thus, maintaining a solid presence in the region.
SPI WASHINGTON D.C.
Created in 1999, SPI USA Inc. is a US company, owned by SPI, whose mission is to provide high quality consulting services that support its clients in the development and strengthening of their regional, national, and international business activities in various sectors.
SPI CALIFORNIA
SPI California is a representative office established in 2003, with the objective to expand the activities of the company in the North American market, through providing services to European companies with interest in the west coast of the USA as well as to support local clients.
SPI PORTO
SPI was established in Porto, and began its activities in 1997.
Its offices in Porto are the company’s headquarters, the centre of its national and international operations, administrative and financial services and business support.
SPI COIMBRA
Following a strategy of growth in Portugal, SPI opened an office in Coimbra in 2006. This office was established with the goal to support various organizations in the central region of Portugal in their pursuit of innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship as well as in the internationalisation of their activities.
SPI LISBON
In 2004, a SPI enlarged its national presence with the creation of an office in Lisbon, as a support to clients in the greater Lisbon area, benefitting from synergies with universities, research institutions and high-tech firms.
SOUTH AMERICA
SPI has successfully implemented different types of projects in various South American countries, such as in Colombia, Peru, and especially Brazil.
AFRICA
SPI has been a catalyser of economic activity in Africa with unique and differentiated characteristics, where it has conducted various projects in countries such as Angola, Mozambique and Cape Verde, positioning itself as a link between different types of institutions.
SPI SPAIN
In 2008, SPI established SPI Spain, in Santiago de Compostela, to aid its Portuguese clients in their internationalisation and take better advantage of opportunities in the Spanish market.
EBN - Brussels
From its creation SPI has maintained a strong activity in the rest of Europe, with particular focus on activities related to the European Commission. Thus, since 2005 it has had representation in Brussels. Since 2007, this representation has been effected through the offices of EBN – the European BIC Network.
SPI BEIJING
In 1999, to initiate is internationalisation process, SPI opened a representative office in the People’s Republic of China. This office has the mission to offer high quality consulting services to support Portuguese companies that want to enter or strengthen their presence in the Chinese market; or Chinese companies that would like to enter the European or US markets; as well as government agencies.
SPI MACAU
In 2010, SPI established SPI China, a Chinese company strategically located in Macau. With this company, SPI could benefit simultaneously from an increased presence in China and a business environment open to western business.
SPI SINGAPORE
With increasing levels of activity in Asia, SPI decided to expand its experience in Southeast Asia through opening a representative office in Singapore. In this way, SPI aims to strength its capacity to promote Science, Technology and Innovation and the development of new business projects.
